How Tower Research Capital recruits

Tower Research Capital describes its hiring as deliberately informal: "We strive to conduct a straightforward interview and hiring process. There are no gotcha questions, random logic problems, or abstract, overly academic discussions. Instead, we aim to have a thoughtful conversation to learn more about you, your past roles, and what you can achieve at Tower." It does not publish a numbered list of interview stages on its careers or internships pages.

Tower's own internships page does not state a UK application-open date; its listed internship titles reference "SUMMER 2027" for its New York and Chicago roles. Our pipeline first confirmed the live London Quantitative Research Internship (Central Execution Research) on 23 August 2026.

Worth knowing

  • London office: "The Minster Building, 21 Mincing Lane, London EC3R 7AG, United Kingdom."
  • No specific finance background is required company-wide: "Not necessarily. Many quants come from math, physics, CS, or engineering backgrounds. What matters most is analytical thinking, technical skill, and a curiosity about markets."
  • Some benefits, such as 401(k) matching, are explicitly scoped to US staff only: "401(k) with company matching (US employees)", so this does not apply to the London role.
