Susquehanna hires students and graduates in the UK into its London office at 25 Basinghall Street in the City of London. For 2027 entry it is advertising graduate roles including Trading Systems Engineer Graduate, Quantitative Strategy Developer Graduate and Software Developer Graduate, alongside summer internships in trading systems engineering, quantitative strategy development and equity research. The graduate roles are aimed at final year students and the internships at penultimate year students.

How Susquehanna International Group recruits
Susquehanna publishes no closing date on any of its London early careers adverts. Instead several of them say hiring is rolling and tell you to apply early. The Trading Systems Engineering internship advert says "We hire for our TSE internship on a rolling basis. There are limited places on our 2027 TSE internship, therefore interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early." The Quantitative Strategy Developer internship carries the same wording for its own programme, and on the graduate side the Quantitative Researcher advert says "We hire for our quantitative research positions on a rolling basis, therefore interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early." Each role is a separate advert and a separate application on the firm's own careers-sig.icims.com system, so applying to one does not put you in front of another team. We found no published reapplication rule on Susquehanna's own pages.
Susquehanna's own job pages carry a posting date in their page data. For 2027 entry, the London Quantitative Trading Internship, Quantitative Trader Graduate and Quantitative Researcher Graduate adverts are marked posted 15 July 2026, the Equity Research Internship 17 July 2026, and the Trading Systems Engineering internship, Quantitative Strategy Developer internship, Software Developer Graduate, Quantitative Strategy Developer Graduate and Trading Systems Engineer Graduate adverts 21 August 2026. Last cycle the equivalent London software role, Software Developer Graduate: 2026 (London Office), was posted 22 September 2025, so the 2027 software graduate advert opened roughly a month earlier than the year before.

Worth knowing
- The two London technology internships are not purely London based. Both adverts describe the programme as "based between our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and our London office", and the perks paragraph on each describes the Dublin office and offers accommodation.
- Those same two internship adverts state the work eligibility bar as "Applicants for our summer internship must legally eligible to work in Ireland and the UK." Susquehanna offers no visa sponsorship statement on these pages.
- The Equity Research Internship: Summer 2027 advert is listed in London but says "Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Ireland." Read the eligibility line on the specific advert before you apply.
- The summer internships are ten weeks long. The adverts say "Our summer internship is 10 weeks and runs from late June to late August."
- Graduate start dates differ by role. The Trading Systems Engineer and Quantitative Strategy Developer graduate adverts say Susquehanna is "seeking talented graduates to join their growing London office in August 2027", while the Software Developer graduate advert says "You must be available to begin in September 2027 to qualify for this role."
- The technology graduate roles are for finalists: "Class of 2027: You are a master's or bachelor's student in their final year of study". The matching internships are for penultimate year students: "Class of 2028: You are a master's or bachelor's student in their penultimate year of study".
- The Quantitative Trading Internship sets its bar as "You should have completed 3 years at university by June 2027" and says "Successful interns will be invited to join our full-time graduate programme in either September 2027, January 2028 or August 2028, depending on availability."
- No finance background is required for the software graduate route: "Prior experience in finance or trading is not necessary."
- The Equity Research internship includes a third party online test. The advert says "Please note that applications for this job require an online assessment."
- The quantitative and technology adverts describe the interviews as "a series of interviews including coding, mathematics, system design and behavioural interviews."
- Susquehanna publishes no salary figure on these adverts, saying only "We offer a highly competitive compensation package to our graduates."
