About The Intake

The Intake is an independent tracker for UK and Ireland graduate schemes, internships, industrial placements and spring weeks in technology and finance. It is free, it needs no account, and it is not owned by or affiliated with any of the employers listed on it.

It exists because the alternative is opening thirty career sites in thirty tabs and hoping none of them has quietly taken a role down.

Where the listings come from

Every intake here was read from the employer’s own recruitment system, the same one their careers site is built on. We currently read 20 different platforms, which is what it takes to cover 194 employers. Nothing is copied from a job board, an aggregator or a repost.

That matters for one reason above all: Apply goes straight to the actual application, not to a careers homepage you then have to search. If a listing says it is open, the requisition behind it was still there when we last looked.

How often it is checked

Every live listing is re-read from the employer’s system, and each one shows the date it was last confirmed. The current set of 676 intakes was last confirmed on 12 September 2026.

When a role disappears from an employer’s system it leaves the tracker the same day. Its page stays up and says so, rather than breaking a link you saved or leaving a dead application form sitting behind a live-looking button.

What we will not do

  • Invent a deadline. Most employers never publish a closing date, because most graduate schemes close when the cohort fills rather than on a date. Where an employer publishes one we show it. Where they do not, we say so and show when the advert went up, because on a rolling scheme that is the number that tells you how much time you have.
  • Publish a salary nobody stated. Pay is shown only when the employer published it themselves. Roughly one employer in five does. The rest say nothing, and so do we.
  • Show something we could not confirm. Anything the pipeline cannot read from the source is held back rather than published with a guess.
  • Sell your email address. Alerts are for the intakes you choose to track. There is no newsletter, no digest and no employer marketing.

Who runs it

The Intake is an independent UK platform, built and maintained with a focus on accurate, up-to-date early-career opportunities.

Getting in touch

Email jointheintake@gmail.com. Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. If a listing here is wrong, out of date, or points somewhere it should not, tell us and it gets fixed, usually the same day.

Employers: if you would rather a role was not listed, email the same address and it will be taken down. Everything here is read from a public careers page, and it is your advert.
