How Amazon recruits

Postings open and close per requisition: a cycle-tagged intern advert simply disappears from amazon.jobs once it is done, so the listing you can see is the application window. The degree apprenticeship states this outright, running rolling applications that close once enough people have applied, with Amazon advising early application.

A live 2026-entry graduate software posting asked for candidates enrolled in or holding at least a Bachelor's degree, graduating between October 2025 and September 2026 or within the previous 24 months.

Worth knowing

  • The SDE degree apprenticeship requires the right to live and work in England for the full programme plus three years' prior UK or EEA residence, and applicants must be 18 or over before the September start.
  • Apprenticeship academics: five GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above, plus ABB at A-Level including Maths or Computer Science, or equivalent BTEC or T-Level results.
