Public data and the employer’s own words, not immigration advice. Whether a role can be sponsored also turns on its salary, the Skilled Worker thresholds in force, and your own status.
Maven Securities is a proprietary trading firm with an office in London, trading and market-making options and other financial products, with a Quant Trader Internship as one of its Emerging Talent routes. The live posting is a 6-month Quant Trader Internship in London for a January 2027 or July 2027 start, aimed at students or graduates with a background in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering or Physics.
Maven Securities runs a single Emerging Talent process across its programmes: candidates may be asked to complete online assessments (numerical, probability, coding, and an "Arctic Shores" cognitive assessment), followed by interviews, then "Assessment centres or final stage interviews." It states candidates "can only apply to one Emerging Talent role each year across all regions," and aims to give feedback "within two weeks of completing your online assessment."
The live Quant Trader Internship posting lists a "Flexible start date: January 2027 or July 2027." We first confirmed this role live in our pipeline on 29 August 2026.
