MUFG is a Japanese banking group whose UK and EMEA early careers hiring runs out of London, and it is one of the most clicked employers on this site. The 2027 intake splits into three things: the Analyst Programme for finalists, the Summer Analyst Programme for penultimate years, and a run of insight events that fill up months before either.
How you join depends on the division, and MUFG says so plainly: analysts in Global Corporate and Investment Banking do three formal rotations before specialising, while other divisions recruit directly into a specific desk. There is no degree class to hit. Their FAQ says they consider candidates of all degree disciplines, and eligibility turns on your year of study instead.
Two dates carry the 2027 cycle: the Analyst Programme closes 25 October 2026 and the Summer Analyst Programme closes 29 November 2026. Both adverts add the same warning: "As applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, we encourage early applications." The insight events close much earlier, and one of them came off the board a day before its stated date while we were watching.
