About Google

Google's Ireland and UK board currently lists one internship title live in each country: a Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering BS/MS Intern, 2027, posted for Dublin, Ireland (one of five office options on that requisition, alongside Zurich) and separately for London, UK, both for summer 2027. We first confirmed both listings live on 11 September 2026.

Google's own overview of its hiring process, which it says covers 'roles and internships' alike, states the process typically takes 'roughly 6-8 weeks' and can include the Google Hiring Assessment, one or two recruiter conversations, project work for some roles, and a panel of structured interviews. The internship posting itself sets its own bar: applicants must be 'currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field in the EMEA region' with 'coding experience in one of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.'

Both live postings carry the same statement: 'Please complete your application before 23rd October 2026. We encourage you to apply as early as possible as we review applications on a rolling basis.' The internship itself is described as a '13-17 week full-time internship' starting 'in either May, June or July 2027.'

"Individuals applying for this position will not be eligible for immigration sponsorship," stated on both the Dublin and London postings.
"Coding experience in one of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript" is a minimum qualification, alongside experience with "data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships or practical experience."
Both postings ask applicants to be "currently enrolled in your penultimate/final year of education," and to give their expected graduation month and year on their resume.
