American Express runs its UK early careers hiring out of London, Brighton and Burgess Hill, with the technology and cyber roles concentrated at Burgess Hill rather than the City. The 2027 intake covers software engineering, information security, product management and finance, as full time graduate programmes, summer internships and a technology apprenticeship.
The internship route has two rounds on their global students page: round one is "Submit a pre-recorded video answering questions specific to the role", round two is an assessment centre. The technology apprenticeship runs differently: an "online coding assessment to be completed within seven days", then a Virtual Discovery Day.
