Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) is a London specialty insurer and part of the Tokio Marine Group. It runs three UK early career strands: a graduate programme across Underwriting and Actuarial & Analytics, an Apprenticeship Programme, and an Actuarial & Analytics Internship Programme, and says "We have been recruiting graduates for 50 years". We currently track no live TMK early careers roles; its own graduate programme page carries a banner reading "Our 2026 Underwriting Graduate Programme is now closed for applications!"
Tokio Marine Kiln has no early careers roles open at the moment. This page updates the day they publish one.
TMK publishes a named selection process for each strand. For the graduate programme: an online application form, an online assessment, a telephone interview, then an assessment day for shortlisted candidates with interviews with staff from across the business, presentations and an exercise, lunch with existing graduate trainees, a team building exercise and a networking event. The Apprenticeship Programme follows the same first three steps, but its assessment day instead has a written exercise and a group exercise. The Actuarial & Analytics Internship Programme instead starts by reviewing online application forms and conducting video interviews, then an assessment day with "a technical problem-solving exercise with the opportunity to discuss your solution to members of the team", alongside interviews, lunch with graduate trainees, a team building exercise and a networking event.
TMK's own FAQ says "Our graduate programmes are usually open for applications from September", and its 2026 Underwriting Graduate Programme is now shown as closed. Its Apprenticeship Programme page shows the 2025 scheme, offered within Underwriting, as closed for applications. Its Internship Programme page shows the 2026 TMK Actuarial & Analytics Internship Programme as closed too, having run "starting in early July of 2026" for "6 weeks".
Stages as Tokio Marine Kiln describes them. Timings vary by programme, so treat this as a guide rather than a commitment.
