Perella Weinberg Partners recruits students into investment banking advisory roles in its London office, and every London role is advertised jointly with Paris or Munich. For UK students it runs the Advisory Summer Analyst Programme (Munich / London) and two Advisory Off-Cycle Internship Programmes (Paris / London), one starting in January and one starting in July. Its own careers page says the firm recruits "for Advisory Full-Time Analysts, Summer Analysts and Off-Cycle Interns across London, Munich and Paris in autumn".

How Perella Weinberg Partners recruits

There is no single application. Each programme is a separate advert on the firm's own portal with its own deadline, so you apply once per programme you want. The firm says it screens "each application" and sets out a European process that runs from events and CV review through a telephone screen, a one hour first round interview and an Assessment Day. The thing to watch is that every advert carries two different closing dates. The advert text sets a soft cutoff, worded as "Early application is encouraged. Applications submitted after 15th September are unlikely to be considered.", while the Student Opportunities board lists a formal Application Deadline weeks later. For the January off-cycle internship that is 15th September in the advert against "Application Deadline: 3 Nov 2026" on the board. Treat the earlier date as the real one. Nothing on the firm's own pages sets a reapplication bar.

The 2027 cycle is open now. On the firm's own Student Opportunities board the three London roles carry listed deadlines of 3 Nov 2026 for the January off-cycle internship, 15 Nov 2026 for the summer analyst programme and 17 Jan 2027 for the July off-cycle internship. The adverts themselves cut off earlier: after 15th September, after 1st October and after Monday 11th November respectively, none of which print a year. The careers page places European recruiting "in autumn", and last cycle ran to the same shape, with the 2026 summer analyst advert captured live on the firm's own system on 6 October 2025 carrying the same 1st October wording.

How the process usually runs

Stages as Perella Weinberg Partners describes them. Timings vary by programme, so treat this as a guide rather than a commitment.

01Participate in Events"Sign up for EVENTS to learn more about PWP and meet our team." The firm's Events board is a separate listing from the job board.
02Submit your Application"Apply via the PWP PORTAL." Applications go through the firm's own portal at pwpcareers.tal.net, one per programme.
03We Review Your CV"Your CV is reviewed by a member of our dedicated team."
04Telephone Screens"Selected candidates will be advanced to a telephone interview where we spend time getting to know you and your background, understanding your interest in Investment Banking and PWP."
05First Round Interviews"Candidates progressed will be invited to complete a one-hour interview, where we will explore your motivations and technical skill set in more detail."
06Assessment Days"At the final stage, candidates are invited to the Assessment Day and will complete verbal and numerical tests. The AD will consist of a mixture of interviews and a case study."
07Offers"Once you have accepted your offer, you will engage with our HR team to get you onboard."

Worth knowing

  • Every advert has two closing dates and they are weeks apart. The advert body says applications after a given date are "unlikely to be considered", while the Student Opportunities board shows a later formal Application Deadline. For the January off-cycle internship it is 15th September in the advert against 3 Nov 2026 on the board. Work to the advert date.
  • None of the three adverts prints a year against its cutoff date. They say "15th September", "1st October" and "Monday 11th November".
  • All three London roles are shared adverts with a second European office. If you want Paris you need "Business proficient language skills in English, and French for those interested in the Paris office"; for Munich it is German. No second language is stated for London.
  • The off-cycle internships are six months and you must be "Available to complete an internship starting in January 2027 for up to 6 months", or July 2027 for the other one. That is a block of time out of term, not a summer.
  • No degree class is published. The adverts ask only for "Historically competitive academic standing".
  • The summer analyst programme accepts an undergraduate or a masters degree; the off-cycle internships name an undergraduate degree only.
  • Nothing on the adverts, the careers hub or the Help Center says anything about visa sponsorship, right to work or salary.
  • The Assessment Day is not interviews alone. It includes "verbal and numerical tests" and "a case study".
  • The firm lists events separately from jobs. At the time of writing its Events board carries a "Getting to Know Perella Weinberg Europe Virtual Webinar" with "Registration Deadline: 21 Sept 2026", open to students "graduating between December 2027 - July 2028 who are interested in our European early career opportunities".
  • The Help Center is technical support only, covering login and form-saving problems. For anything about the process it points you to a "Contact Us" link to "get in touch with the recruitment team directly".
  • Internships are the route in. The firm says "We hire interns with the goal to convert to full-time", and "Off-Cycle Internships are offered in Europe."
