How G-Research recruits

You may apply to only one Summer Research Programme stream per cycle. The quant research process is four stages taking one to two weeks: apply online, an aptitude test, technical interviews, then a final interview. Engineering internships run three stages ending in an assessment centre.

Graduate positions typically launch in August rather than being open year round. Applications for the 2027 Summer Research Programme were open by late August 2026, with the programme itself running 21 June to 27 August 2027. Their Spring into Quant Finance insight week is held around Easter each year and fast-tracks into the Summer Research Programme.

How the process usually runs

Stages as G-Research describes them. Timings vary by programme, so treat this as a guide rather than a commitment.

02Aptitude testThe first assessment for quant research applicants.
03Technical interviewsThe core of the quant process; the four stages together take one to two weeks.
