Canopius is a Lloyd's insurer and reinsurer. Its early careers page is built almost entirely around apprenticeships rather than a graduate scheme: it lists apprenticeships available in 2026 in the UK across Underwriting, Operations, Data, Delegated Authority Operation, IT (Developer and Analyst), Marketing, Complaints and Change, alongside a young-talent networking event, the annual Next Generation Summit, and a Young Talent Report based on the insights of young professionals in APAC. Canopius describes its apprenticeships as "'Earn while you learn'": placements are permanent from the outset, "All of our apprenticeship placements are permanent roles", apprentices train with an external provider alongside their day-to-day role, and each apprenticeship finishes with an End Point Assessment, described as "a series of practical tests or an oral discussion designed for you to demonstrate what you can do". Its FAQ states apprenticeships are "open to anyone over the age of 16" provided academic entry requirements for that scheme are met, that "Our apprentices don't pay anything towards their apprenticeship" because "All training costs are covered", and lists the same-page eligibility exclusions verbatim: you cannot apply where you already hold the skills the apprenticeship would teach, where you hold a higher-grade qualification in the same subject area, where you are already completing another qualification the page says must finish "by September 2024", or where the apprenticeship "replicates learning you have already completed elsewhere".
Canopius' early careers page does not state a month or window for opening apprenticeship applications generally; it instead lists which apprenticeships are "Available in 2026 in the UK": Underwriting, Operations, Data, Delegated Authority Operation, IT (Developer and Analyst), Marketing, Complaints and Change.
