MBDA is a European missile systems company, and its UK early careers hiring runs out of Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton. The work is engineering first: software, systems, electronics, radio frequency, computer vision and electro-optics, alongside a smaller finance intake. The graduate programme runs two years as four six-month placements, three in a specialist area and one outside it.
Applications are read as they arrive and each advert comes down when that programme is full, so there is no published closing date on most MBDA roles and being early is the whole game. One application covers the strengths assessment for every role you apply to: MBDA states it only has to be completed once per cycle.
MBDA's own page said "Applications for our September 2027 programme are now open" when we read it on 16 September 2026. Our own record shows 19 UK early careers roles posted on MBDA's board that day, across graduate programmes, summer placements and undergraduate placements.
