Point72 is hiring a Quantitative Software Developer Intern in London. This is a summer internship in Quantitative, read from Point72’s Greenhouse job board and last confirmed on 12 September 2026.
Apply on Point72’s sitePublic data and the employer’s own words, not immigration advice. Whether a role can be sponsored also turns on its salary, the Skilled Worker thresholds in force, and your own status.
Point72 runs early-careers hiring on two separate tracks: the discretionary-investing Point72 Academy, a paid analyst training programme, and Cubist Systematic Strategies, its quant affiliate, which runs its own internships and a year-long Cubist Quant Academy rotational programme. The two roles we currently track, Quantitative Researcher - Intern and Quantitative Software Developer Intern, sit in Cubist and list London among their locations.
The two live Cubist internship postings don't publish their own stage-by-stage process, only role requirements and (for the Quantitative Researcher role) a stated salary range. Point72's own blog describes the process for the separate Academy track: qualified applicants are sent an online questionnaire, then a case study, then interview.
Our pipeline first confirmed these two Cubist internship listings live on 23 August 2026; neither posting states an application deadline. Point72's own Academy page states the 2026 cohorts have already closed and gives only seasonal windows for the next cycle: "Applications have closed for the 2026 Summer Internship and 2026 Full-Time Program for Upcoming Graduates," with 2027 Summer Internship applications stated to open in "Winter 2026" and close "Early Summer 2026" on that Academy track specifically (not confirmed for Cubist's own internships).
