About Mastercard

Mastercard recruits students and graduates worldwide through two named early-career routes on its "Campus" job board: a full-time Internship Program and an 18-month Launch Program, both "Open to currently enrolled Bachelor's and Master's students". Dublin, Ireland is described on Mastercard's own careers site as its European Technology Hub, and the company also has a London office, but as of 14 September 2026 the Campus board carries no vacancy tagged to a UK or Irish location. We registered the Campus board on 11 September 2026 and have checked it daily since; it has held listings in the United States, Singapore, China, Portugal, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, but none in the UK or Ireland.

Mastercard's early careers FAQ describes internship and Launch as connected stages of one route: "The typical career path is internship to Launch to full-time role." Launch does not require a prior internship: "Can I apply to Launch without having interned at Mastercard? Absolutely. We encourage candidates to apply to our internships or our Launch program." Both routes are applied for through the same Workday Campus board.

Mastercard's early careers hub publishes no fixed application window. We registered its Campus board, which was carrying 2027-dated Launch Program and Summer 2027 internship postings, on 11 September 2026, and it had 51 open postings on 14 September 2026, none of them in the UK or Ireland.

  • Both routes share the same eligibility line: "Open to currently enrolled Bachelor's and Master's students."
  • Mastercard describes Launch as "an 18-month career development program where you join a global cohort of recent graduates, participate in project work, and engage with senior executives and leadership."
  • On sponsorship, the FAQ answer is role dependent, not a blanket policy: "Visa sponsorship policies vary by country and role, so check the specific job posting for sponsorship details before applying."
