About Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs runs the full EMEA early-careers ladder from London and Birmingham: a nine-to-ten week Summer Analyst internship, a PhD-level Summer Associate programme, the full-time New Analyst graduate programme, off-cycle internships of 3, 6 or 12 months, a year-long work placement and four-year degree apprenticeships.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline stated, and Goldman Sachs tells candidates to apply as soon as they are ready. It evaluates continuously through the recruiting season, so different roles answer at different times.

The 2027 Summer Analyst and Summer Associate programmes were open by late August 2026, which matches our own feed: we read their engineering Summer Analyst requisitions from their campus hiring system in mid August. Degree apprenticeship applications for 2027 open in autumn 2026, and New Analyst timelines vary by business area.

  • Summer Analyst eligibility is a Bachelors or Masters in the penultimate or final year; no degree subject restriction is stated for the general programme.
  • The engineering degree apprenticeship is tied to a named degree at Queen Mary University of London (based in London) or the University of Warwick (based in Birmingham).
  • No Goldman Sachs page we checked publishes a fixed closing date, a visa sponsorship position or a salary figure for UK programmes, so none is claimed here.
