Barclays runs its UK early careers hiring in two shapes, an "Explorer" track and a one year fast-track "Expert" track, alongside summer internships, a Discovery insight programme and apprenticeships. Barclays states the limit plainly: "We accept one application per candidate per year for our graduate and internship programmes". So the choice of programme matters more here than almost anywhere else. Several 2027 programmes carry a stated closing date of 26 September 2026 in Barclays' own system; others carry none at all and simply fill.
