Bank of America hires UK students through one EMEA campus system covering summer internships, off-cycle internships, industrial placements, the Spring Insight programme, degree apprenticeships and full-time analyst programmes. Internships run in "business areas such as Global Markets, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Enterprise Control Functions, Global Technology and Global Operations", and every UK advert we opened is in London, Chester or Bromley. Summer internships and industrial placements are for penultimate year undergraduates, and Spring Insight is for first years.
Recruiting is rolling, and they say so plainly: "Analyst Internship and Full-time recruiting takes place on a rolling basis once applications open. Assessments often begin before the deadline, so it's best to submit your application early." The bigger constraint is that you get one shot. Their adverts state: "EMEA applicants are limited to 1 application per recruitment season. Once your application has been submitted, you will be unable to apply to any additional EMEA programs." So decide on the programme, division and office before you submit anything. The application itself has two parts, "your application with CV upload and competency questions, plus a video interview", and "Both must be completed by the application deadline for you to be considered", so the video interview is not a later stage you can put off. On coming back another year: "you may apply to one office and one division per year. If you are declined for the summer program, you can reapply for the Full-time program the following year." There are no deferred starts: "No, Bank of America does not offer you the chance to defer."
Applications for the 2027 intake opened on 1 September 2026: "Applications for our Summer, Off-Cycle and Full-time programs will open September 1, 2026." Closing dates are not uniform, so do not rely on the headline. The EMEA page gives a single date, "Summer, Off-Cycle and Full-time program applications close: October 11, 2026", but the adverts do not all match it. Every summer internship, industrial placement and full-time advert we opened carries "Application Deadline October 11 2026", while the London off-cycle analyst adverts carry "Application Deadline September 13 2026". Check the date on the advert you are applying to. The EMEA page publishes no Spring Insight or apprenticeship dates for this cycle. It says instead that "Apprenticeship and pre-internship program recruitment takes place at various times throughout the year, with recruiting processes taking place approximately two to three months prior to the program date." Last cycle Spring opened on 13 October 2025, a month after everything else.
