AXA UK is a UK insurer organised into three customer-facing business units: "AXA UK is made up of Commercial, Health and Retail, known as our three business units." Its live careers site, careers.axa.co.uk, does not currently carry a dedicated early careers or graduate hub. The evidence in this profile instead comes from AXA UK's separate early-careers microsite, jobs.axa.co.uk, which no longer resolves as of our research and is read here via the Wayback Machine, plus a press release on AXA UK's own newsroom. On that evidence, AXA UK has run a paid Summer Intern programme in at least two recent years (2024 and 2026) and offers an ongoing apprenticeships scheme. We currently track no live AXA UK early careers vacancy.
AXA UK's apprenticeship page does not publish an application window or recruitment cycle: it offers apprenticeships "in a number of different departments including Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, HR, Customer Service, IT, Digital, Data, Marketing, Change, Claims, Leadership & Management", ranging "from intermediate level 2 qualifications right through to bachelor's and master's degrees at levels 6 and 7", and "You can do an apprenticeship at any age, regardless of your previous education." Its Summer Intern programme instead runs to a fixed, dated cycle: the 2026 Commercial Summer Intern posting asked for candidates "Currently studying for a bachelor's or master's degree, or have graduated within the last 12 months", available for the internship "on a full-time basis (35 hours per week)", and stated "As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom." AXA UK describes itself as working hybrid once established, "At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office", though interns are "initially... based in our offices full time."
The Wayback Machine's most recent capture of AXA UK's Early Careers page, from 19 July 2025, read: "We don't have any vacancies that match your search at the moment." Its 2026 Commercial Summer Intern posting, captured 18 January 2026, listed a closing date of 23 January 2026 for internships that ran "from June to September 2026", and by the capture date its London vacancies had already closed, marked "*Applications to London are now closed due to overwhelming response." AXA UK's own newsroom shows the same kind of internship programme also ran in 2024: the 2024 cohort, "Twenty-one interns at AXA UK celebrated the completion of a 12-week programme", reported 19 September 2024. No 2027 dates are currently published anywhere we could find.
