Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC), founded in 2017 by CSO Dr Peter Leek, builds superconducting quantum computers and offers them as a cloud service. It runs no separate graduate scheme: it hires directly into open engineering roles, including entry-level "Associate" positions such as Associate Quantum Engineer and Associate Scientific Software Engineer, based at its Reading office.
Oxford Quantum Circuits has no early careers roles open at the moment. We have confirmed 2 from them before, listed below, and this page updates the day they publish another.
OQC's own careers page describes a two-part screening: a skills-only CV review, followed by an interview panel. It states plainly that CVs are assessed on skills alone before any interview.
OQC's own applicant system shows the Associate Quantum Engineer role was published on 23 July 2026 and the Associate Scientific Software Engineer role on 24 July 2026. Our pipeline first confirmed this intake on 22 August 2026.
Stages as Oxford Quantum Circuits describes them. Timings vary by programme, so treat this as a guide rather than a commitment.
