Abbott runs graduate schemes at its Witney manufacturing site in the UK, alongside a global three-year Professional Development Program and direct hiring of graduates into functional roles such as technologist, scientist and associate engineer. Its dedicated UK careers pages (abbott.co.uk/careers) have since been retired and now redirect to abbott.com, so the specifics below come from a Wayback capture of that page from April 2026.

Abbott UK's own page (as archived) does not describe a single application process with named stages; instead it describes three separate early-careers routes (Professional Development Program, graduate scheme, and direct-entry functional roles), all advertised through Abbott's central careers site and job search. No UK-specific stage-by-stage process is published.
Abbott's own UK page carries no stated application window. Our pipeline first confirmed a live UK graduate or intern role on 29 August 2026; that listing has since moved to our archive and there are no live UK graduate roles at the time of writing.
Worth knowing
- Abbott's Witney site runs two distinct local graduate schemes rather than one: a STEM-focused scheme of six rotations of six months each, and a systems-engineering scheme of two rotations of 12 to 18 months each.
